    What Happens When You Out Grow The Business You Built

    What happens when the business you once dreamed of building… no longer feels like the dream? In this episode, I’m talking about something that I don’t think we speak about enough in the beauty industry — outgrowing the business you worked so hard to create. After more than 22 years in the beauty industry, my business has changed so many times. I went from working full-time while building my client base, to being mobile, working from home, opening my own salon, becoming an educator and eventually making the decision to step away from treatments altogether. And one of the biggest things I’ve learnt is this: you’re allowed to change your mind. You can be incredibly proud of what you’ve built and still want something different. In this episode, I talk about recognising when your business no longer fits the life you want, why changing direction doesn’t mean you’ve failed, letting go of the guilt that can come with moving on, and how my own priorities have changed throughout different stages of my career.
