    Episode 4 - Reeducation.

Chapter 4 – Rééducation In Rééducation, the mask slips a little further. Guy Strange confronts the reality of living with a progressive disease and the physical and psychological changes that come with it. Walking becomes uncertain, running becomes something his body seems to have forgotten, and the future begins to look increasingly difficult to predict. Alongside the physical deterioration comes another battle — paranoia, low self-esteem, cognitive decline, autism and mental health struggles that are far less visible than a walking stick or a stumbling gait. Guy doesn't want sympathy. He wants to explain. But explaining what is happening means opening doors he would rather keep firmly closed. After being warned that his condition will progressively deteriorate, Guy decides to attempt his own rehabilitation. Twice a week, he boards a yellow bus to a gym with a group of patients who, like him, exist somewhere outside the comfortable boundaries of ordinary society. There, among old equipment, awkward falls, unexpected friendships and a battered treadmill, Guy begins to fight back. For eighteen months, he pushes himself further. Six-minute walks become jogs. The numbers improve. The impossible begins to look possible. But progressive MS doesn't negotiate. Eventually, Guy has to confront the brutal truth: rehabilitation may help him fight the decline, but it cannot necessarily stop it. Darkly comic, uncomfortable and painfully honest, Rééducation explores disability, progressive illness, autism, paranoia, mental health, friendship and the strange ways people learn to live with a future they never asked for. And somewhere between the laughter, the falling, the treadmill and the pain, Guy discovers something he wasn't expecting — people who understand what it means to be an outsider. Even if he still suspects they'll eventually get fed up with him. Motel Disco Mbob — where memories check in, but secrets never leave.
