    If you enjoyed that quiet moment, you might be interested in attending one or more of my upcoming series of interlinked online writing workshops, Wilder. The workshops will centre on places on the outskirts of our civilisation. What charm do moors, lakes, woods and caves hold to have featured in so much literature, art, myth and popular culture? What can they and their ecosystems teach us about ourselves, and our connections with each other and the earth? How can we write in relation to them in ways that resonate in the contemporary world? Dates: Monday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th October 2026. Time: 6.30-8.00 pm (GMT). Cost: £12 per workshop or £40 for the full course.
