Episode 18 - Beyond Aesthetics: The Spiritual Science Behind What it Really Means to Feel at Home

Aesthetics. Vibes. Aura. The look of our environments affect so much more than we realize, from how we feel emotionally to how we experience everyday life. In this episode of The H.O.P.E. Architect Podcast, I'm joined by holistic interior designer and fabulous human Rebecca Pogonitz to explore the fascinating world of Neuro Design and the connection between our surroundings and how we feel and thrive. Rebecca shares how her personal journey shaped her approach to design and how she combines science, intuition, and creativity to create spaces that feel as good as they look. We discuss Neuro Design, the psychology of color, the emotional connections we develop with our homes, and why creating a space that reflects who we are can be such a meaningful part of our personal growth and own healing. This conversation is a beautiful reminder that our homes are more than places we live. They're environments that can support our well-being, reflect our individuality, and give us a deeper sense of belonging. Episode 15 - Q&A with Master Iridologist Dr. Angel Hill

What can your eyes reveal about what’s happening inside your body?  On this episode of The H.O.P.E. Architect Podcast, I’m joined by @angeleyes32570, Dr. Angel Hill, a traditional naturopath and master iridologist, for a Q&A that goes far beyond the basics of iridology. We explore how she uses iridology for hormone mapping, what she looks for when assessing patterns related to thyroid function, cortisol, stress, kidney health and women’s wellness, and how she incorporates Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) into her practice. We also get into some of the more controversial conversations in holistic wellness from supplement overuse to fasting, multivitamins, sodium, protein intake, whole-food supplementation and the wellness trends that may be doing more harm than good. Dr. Hill also shares why morning routines matter, what “stress addiction” can look like, why women should be paying closer attention to their thyroid, and the importance of learning to actually listen to what your body is telling you. A wide-ranging conversation about questioning wellness trends, understanding your body, and looking at health through a different lens.  Subscribe on YouTube and listen to the latest episode of The H.O.P.E. Episode 14 - Beyond The Mat with Mishiah Crute

Mishiah shares her journey from corporate life to becoming a yoga teacher, including training in Bali, navigating studio ownership, and unlearning the perfectionism that once shaped how she moved through life and her practice. The conversation explores what yoga can become when we move beyond performance and into embodiment from the power of breath and intuitive teaching to authenticity, touch, physical adjustments, and the importance of consent within wellness spaces. Mishiah also opens up about touch deprivation and its effects on the body, the energetic anatomy of the heart chakra, and how patriarchal and societal standards have influenced the way we understand our bodies, chakras, and even the practice of yoga itself. At the heart of the conversation is a deeper invitation: to practice radical acceptance, become curious about ourselves, and develop the self-knowledge that allows us to feel safer and more at home in our own bodies. A conversation about yoga but even more so, about embodiment, connection, authenticity, and learning to meet yourself exactly where you are. Episode 13 - The Motherhood Experience with Harmony S. Smith, LPC Associate, LMFT Associate

What happens to our mental health when we’re navigating pregnancy, birth, postpartum, motherhood, grief, and everything in between? In this conversation, Harmony S. Smith and I go way beyond the usual “pregnancy is beautiful” conversation and get into the parts people don’t always talk about like the anxiety, the fear, the grief, the nervous system, the identity shifts, and the emotional weight that can come with becoming a mother. Harmony brings her experience as a therapist specializing in reproductive mental health to a conversation about prenatal anxiety, screening, embodied healing, birth and the nervous system, grief and loss, and what real reproductive healing and support can look like. But this conversation is bigger than therapy. We also talk about advocacy, social justice, inclusivity, self-advocacy, community, and what it means to create spaces where people actually feel seen and supported. One of the things I loved most about this conversation is that it doesn’t pretend we have to choose between hope and fear. Sometimes healing means making room for both. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, loss, reproductive trauma, or simply trying to find your way through a major life transition, this conversation is a reminder to give yourself some grace, advocate for yourself, find your people, and remember that healing is still possible.
