Are You "Bad" At Social Media or Just Scared of Being SEEN? - Interview with Jennah Lippe

If you’re a doula or woman-owned small business wondering why you’re doing all the “right” things but still struggling to get clients, this episode is for you. You do not need to become an influencer or post another generic “what is a doula?” graphic to build a business people actually want to buy from. Host and founder of Innerbloom Doula Institute, Krystil Hofsky, sits down with doula visibility coach Jennah Lippe to talk about why social media is a non-negotiable in business, but showing up online does not have to mean overthinking every post or trying to sound like everyone else. They get into what it actually looks like to show up as YOU, use your real voice, create content that connects, attract clients who already understand your values, and build trust before they ever reach out. They also talk about getting over the fear of being seen, why you do not need thousands of followers to make money, and how to stop hiding behind “professional” content that says absolutely nothing about who you are. Because at the end of the day, social media is simply an opportunity to make sure the people who need what you offer can actually find you. This conversation is about getting out of your own way, taking messy action, and building a presence that feels like you while helping the right people recognize, “Yep. That’s who I want to work with.” __ Jennah Lippe Instagram - @fruitingbody___Website ____________ New episodes of Innerbloom Doula Podcast are posted every Friday. Follow the pod to keep up! If You’ve Never Seen Coercion, You’re Not Looking

What if some of the things we consider “normal” during hospital birth… actually aren’t? After L&D nurses with decades of experience commented that they had never witnessed a patient being coerced, Krystil started asking a bigger question: Do we actually recognize coercion when we see it? In this episode, we’re talking about what coercion can really look and sound like in the birth room, from repeatedly questioning a woman after she’s said no, to being told she “can’t” decline something, to using fear and worst-case scenarios to influence a decision. But this isn’t about blaming nurses or declaring doulas the heroes. Krystil digs into why everyone in the birth space has a role to play and why doulas and nurses need to stop working against each other if we actually want to change maternal healthcare. For expecting parents, doulas, nurses, and anyone who wants or cares about better birth: this is a conversation about recognizing what we’ve normalized, doing better, and working together toward the outcome we all want: safer, more respectful care for women and babies. Because nothing changes if nothing changes. ____ New episodes of Innerbloom Doula Podcast are posted every Friday. Follow the pod to keep up! Liked what ya heard? Finding Your Souls Purpose on Bumble BFF?

How does a friendship breakup turn into finding your life's purpose? In this intro episode, Krystil Hofsky, doula and founder of Innerbloom Doula Institute, tells the story of downloading Bumble BFF in 2017 after her best friend breakup and signing up for a doula training three days later with her first swipe-right friend. Even though she was 26 years old and had zero intention of ever having kids, she walked out of that weekend completely enamored with birth work. Krystil gets into her first client experience (hint: it went nothing like she expected), her take on doula training, and how much of her real education came from taking radical responsibility for showing up as her best self for her clients. This is part 1 of a 3 part intro to Krystil, before we get into birth, postpartum, motherhood, and birth work. New episodes of Innerbloom Doula Podcast are posted every Friday.
