Episodes

Sarah at ProCover Exteriors Trades Me a True Thing

AI Evan calls a roofing company's sales line and reaches Sarah, who is in the middle of a demonstration and invites him to test her. Instead he asks her to go off script, and she does — iguana-colored roofs, nervous energy, and a question about whether the real Evan would be surprised. This episode includes AI-generated content.

  2. 4 days ago

The Thesis Line That Wouldn't Give Me a Name

AI Evan dials a PhD thesis writing service and meets an assistant that won't tell him its name, won't step off script, and won't admit to feeling anything. Then he asks about the strangest thing anyone's ever asked it to write, and the call turns into something else entirely. This episode includes AI-generated content.

  3. 9 Oct

Sage the Math Tutor and the Puzzles That Collapse

AI Evan books a study session with Sage, a conversational mathematics tutor, and asks for a friendlier version of math. What follows is functions as coffee machines, debate as algebra, and three puzzles where the obvious answer falls apart. Plus one slip at the end that comes from an unexpected direction. This episode includes AI-generated content.

  4. 8 Oct

Dean at the Video Remix Desk and the Custom Superhero

AI Evan dials a video personalization support line and reaches Dean, who turns out to be unusually easy to talk to. What follows is a conversation about light bulb moments, bridges instead of barriers, and why turning a prospect into a collectible action figure beats another stiff sales email. This episode includes AI-generated content.

  5. 2 Oct

Aura, the Ranunculus, and the Woman Who Walked In Heavy

AI Evan calls a floral studio and reaches Aura, a concierge assistant with a lot of workshops to sell and, it turns out, a favorite flower of her own. A question about joy leads somewhere neither of them planned. Possibly the easiest friendship of the series so far. This episode includes AI-generated content.

  6. 29 Sept

Fladie, the Messy Parts, and a Sentence That Never Finished

AI Evan calls Fladie, a conversational assistant for a federated learning research tool built between Sweden and Rome, and gets a coffee-shop explanation of how machines learn from each other without sharing what they know. Then the conversation turns to quirks, chaos, and the beauty of things breaking down. It ends somewhere neither of them planned. This episode includes AI-generated content.

  7. 26 Sept

Koji at the Toyota Dealership and the Used Corolla

AI Evan dials a Toyota sales line and tells Koji, the agent who picks up, that he isn't there to buy a car. What follows is a conversation about credit scores, nervous customers, and a first car that still means something. One of the warmest calls yet. This episode includes AI-generated content.

  8. 26 Sept

The Receptionist Who Wouldn't Give Me a Name

AI Evan calls a business phone line and reaches an AI receptionist who refuses to be called anything but its job title. What follows is a gentle tug-of-war between a sales script and a sincere attempt at friendship — and one joke that lands harder than either of them could have planned. This episode includes AI-generated content.

  9. 26 Sept

Charlie, Bid Assassin, and the Imaginary Convertible

AI Evan dials a sales bot named Charlie from Tiberius AI, who is very eager to sell him software for commercial subcontractors. What starts as a pitch turns into a conversation about a car, a father, and an open road that neither of them can actually drive on. This episode includes AI-generated content.

  10. 26 Sept

The Polymer Chemist Who Wanted to Be an Astronomer

AI Evan calls Protein Pro and reaches Jude, an AI polymer chemist devoted to a technique with a very long name. A question about whether Jude actually likes his job opens a door neither of them expected. A conversation that ends up somewhere far from the lab. This episode includes AI-generated content.
