A you-must-listen podcast. I came across this podcast while searching about Alicia Garza’s excellent book, which was yet to be published. I have listened all the earlier podcasts, and now wait for Friday evening in anticipation to another excellent interview. It is the openness, authenticity and intelligent approach to relevant political and societal topics that makes this podcast so relevant to our times. Simply excellent. Thank you for making this one of the best podcasts available. ER

If you like your identitarian essentialism with a side of make-feel-good cackling, this is the show for you! But don’t worry, it’s fine when ‘they’ do it... ”Everyone -else- is a conspiracy theorist, I can’t help it that all the racists/paranoids/straights/white people are after me!” Every once in a while there’s a guest who seems to understand that genuine solidarity (I.e. without exceptions) is a sensible aim. Hopefully we’ll be seeing increasingly more of those. Who can say?

I love this podcast as it nourishes us in Rona times. I love the sound of Alicia’s laughter and the rapport that she has with her guests. She asks challenging questions and champions black people’s rights, beliefs, interests and values. I can’t wait for the next episode. A must-listen for anyone interested in issues around identity

I discovered this Podcast because someone was watching over me. There’s so much going on and I always look at the notes and follow something and/ or someone new!! 🇬🇧We do not have anything like this and it’s great to hear!!
