The greatest podcast of all time

The title may sound sarcastic but the statement is 100 percent true. At the peak of this podcast during the lockdowns there simply wasn’t a better podcast out there. Unfortunately the episodes post jaws aren’t quite the same as the classic LJFAM episodes but still really good fun. Both Sarah (not just the female) and MJ (not just the guy) gave me so much joy and a lot of laughs. Especially Sarah’s laugh! It’s the best 🤩

Lovely show

What elevates this above most film podcasts is the sheer warmth and joy radiating from the two hosts. That they’re talking ceaselessly about the best film ever made too? That’s a bonus. Amity A+!

SQ Issues

I only listened to 3 episodes and they were ok. I’ve heard a lot worse. My grumble is the sound quality. The female is too close to the microphone and sounds as though she’s been on the laughing gas as she can’t let a minute go by without cackling. The problem with that is the guy seems to be sat in the room next door so apart from dropping the word “progressive “ 😱 in every now and again one can barely hear what he’s talking about. Probably just as well if “ progressive “ is an indicator. Shame. There are better Jaws podcasts out there. A generous 3 as I like the girl. She does sound bonkers.
