Let's Make a Horror Movie

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed these podcasts, despite not being a massive fan of horror itself. The format is very accessible, with the show split in to multiple acts, general chat, last weeks feedback and extra ideas, the new horror pitch. The natural chat between the hosts is natural and flows very easily leading to a lot of very entertaining moments. The sound quality is very good for a new podcast which I certainly wasn’t expecting. As for the main draw - coming up with horror movies the format is quite free flowing, all the ideas are pretty varied, and often leads to some really solid movie ideas. Enthralling to listen to. 2 guys creating horror stories and pitching them as movie ideas to each other + some general horror chat + audience feedback on the previous week's idea. Great concept, satisying outcome. Not for the easily offended, but acceptable for non-horror fans too. Love it!

Great format, well delivered. Good chemistry between the hosts, I have a long history of Dave’s tangents and accents of varying quality and it’s great to see them available to the universe. John and Dave have a good knowledge of film and film structure as well as a great knowledge of the horror cannon. None of this is required to listen and enjoy however and the audio flows by with ease. It’s an enjoyable feature to be able to give notes and reactions and hear them discussed or discarded the next week. Really starting to find their feet a few eps in, keep up the good work.
