Owning Your Self-Image with Sandy Grigsby

Owning Your Self-Image with Sandy Grigsby

    Show Notes:

Sandy Grigsby is a self-image coach, personal brand consultant, and personal branding photographer. She began her career journey as a commercial model for some big names, like T-Mobile, Apple, Sony, Cadillac, Tempur-Pedic, and many more. Between modeling and working with prominent photographers in Los Angeles, she designed celebrity websites. In 2005, Sandy founded Briofive, a personal branding agency for entrepreneurs.
Even though Sandy was in the personal brand design industry, she struggled with her own self-image. It wasn’t until she discovered what she was actually missing that everything changed. Once she stopped sabotaging her own confidence, she found herself featured in magazines, being interviewed on panels, speaking solo on a TEDx stage, and speaking at international events before thousands.
Sandy and I begin our conversation with a discussion around the pain point that showed Sandy she was called to make a difference in branding and the way people show up. She recognized a lack of confidence in others because she had once lacked it herself. We talk about the power of Sandy’s photography and brand work and how she helps her clients truly see themselves. We also discuss overcoming people-pleasing, the connection between mental and physical health, and why Sandy wrote her children’s book, I Am Who I Am.
