    Amazon's New World

Loreseekers – Sometimes things come out of nowhere and pleasantly surprise you. As long-time MMO players, even when you’re entrenched in one game (some may call it addicted lol), you’re constantly on the lookout for new experiences. What’s the latest in game development? Where is the genre going? Will the genre survive? It’s never because we like one game over another, its usually because as MMO players, we have an innate drive to see this genre of gaming survive and thrive.

Recently, Amazon’s New World Beta caught our eye and it has intrigued us greatly. In all honesty, we had the opportunity to get some gifted keys for the latest Closed Beta test and we took advantage of it just to check the game out. Well, from what we were able to see, we were impressed. There were many aspects of the game we felt were worthy of at least experiencing the launch of the game and sharing our experiences.

We know this will come as a surprise to many of you, given we’d recently taken a break from our time in Elder Scrolls Online and subsequently returned. Make no mistake, we love ESO and its community. But as content creators, sometimes a fresh eye on something new and shiny is good for sparking the creative spirit. In addition, you can’t deny the excitement that surrounds the launch of a new game – especially since we personally haven’t experienced a new MMO launch since Star Wars the Old Republic. So we’re going for it.

If you’re interested in following, you can follow our NewWorld launch experiences on Twitter and Instagram @LoreseekersCast. If you’re interested in learning more about the game, you can find it HERE.

    Safe Travels, Friends,

Addictive and essential

I’d bought ESO because I love the lore of the elder scrolls universe but I thought, “it’s online, I won’t be able to really enjoy it” so I left the game for a while. I came across the podcast and couldn’t have been happier. Best company during covid lockdown and made me wanna go back to the game. I joined the guild and have already fought in a few dungeons and held a march for George Floyd. Never felt more part of a videogame community. Amazing podcast for lore and news on everything elder scrolls online. Dilly dilly!

Thanks guys,

Amazing podcast

The best of the eso podcast out there. Both the hosts are lovely and have a hilarious vibe between them. The lore lessons are amazing and their discussions about their progress can help you to become a better player yourself. Listening to this podcast has had me laughing out loud in all the most inappropriate situations. Definitely worth a go.

Come for the Lore, Stay for the Family

This is a great all-round ESO podcast, and a fantastic community.

I originally listened in for the lore lessons, which are great and can teach anyone some great things about Tamriel (even if you think you know the lore, like me).

I began listening to the other parts because I couldn't be bothered fast-forwarding to the lore lessons each time, and this podcast got me into playing ESO what with all the game and community chat that I was hearing. This is a great place to keep updated with this ever evolving game, which the marvelous community that has built up around this podcast is helping me with. If you're afraid of bieng part of an MMO, this is the perfect place to get over that fear.

The community is fabulous, too. Welcoming, sociable, just a great thing to be a part of.
Thank you, Jibbs and Kash, for presenting the lore of The Elder Scrolls in your own unique way, and for building such a marvellous space around it.

Dilly dilly!
