I Know What You're Thinking...
As somebody who used to love watching Magnum, PI on ITV during first run and now re-watching it on ITV4, not only was I surprised by how it held up and how good it still was but that there was this podcast! I was expecting it to be a piss-take but it isn't. They enjoy the show and appreciate it for what it is and was - a solid, hugely enjoyable show with a surprising level of character depth. I hope they mnage to re-watch all 8 seasons.
Zeus, Apollo heel!
I had heard of Magnum P.I. but never watched it (with the exception of the LRRCon late night dub fight). Not only has this podcast got me to start watching the show but also to really enjoy it! There are lots of interesting facts and prodcution information that gets brought out which makes it worth listening to even if you have seen the show.
A whole lot of fun
In general I don't personally listen to many podcasts, and hadn't heard of a rematch podcast until these guys started theirs. I've never watched magnum P.I. And knew nothing about it before I started listening to this podcast but I've thoroughly enjoyed all the trivia and the explanations of each episode, with two great hosts who inject their own take on the show with lots of fun trivia. Always look forward to when this podcast releases.
