    Ep: 39: Saving Australian Schools

As Australia’s education ranking tanks, a change in the school funding system is well overdue. If Australia is ever going to be the smart country, equal per-child funding, together with greater parental choice must be top of mind. A fair and equal funding model, in addition to UK style ‘Free Schools’, would give parents, teachers and students a place where learning matches family values. They would be a tonic for Australia’s disillusioned teachers and angry parents doing battle against the forces of woke mediocrity. Ep 37: Australia's National Curriculum

Australia’s National Curriculum, designed by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA), has been described as “shockingly poor” by one media outlet and “a problem” by education consultants. Yet is it as bad as it seems? We ask three experts on curriculum matters if there’s any hope at all for the document that is supposed to guide teachers and set standards for the next generation of Australians.
