    America 250

This week on The Necessary Conversation,Chad, Haley, and Mary Lou discuss the 250 year of America as the country seems to be crumbling. 🎪 Trump's Great American State Fair was a disaster from start to finish. Sparse crowds, cheap decorations, expensive food, nearly every musical act backed out, a stage collapsed during rehearsal, a 110° heat wave shut parts of it down, 51 people were treated for heat-related illness, hail disrupted Mount Rushmore, and thunderstorms forced a full evacuation of the National Mall on the actual Fourth, delaying Trump's speech until 11 PM. Then a House Democrats' report found that donors intending to fund the original bipartisan celebration had their money rerouted to Trump's organization — which is wire fraud. We ask Mom: was this a success? 🏴 To celebrate America's 250th birthday, hundreds of masked Neo-Nazis from Patriot Front marched through Washington, D.C. carrying Confederate flags and chanting "Reclaim America." The White House has issued no statement. We ask: why is Trump silent about Nazis marching on the Capitol on the Fourth of July? 🏥 Leaked emergency dispatch audio revealed that Mitch McConnell suffered cardiac arrest at his home on June 14, with CPR in progress. He hasn't been seen publicly since June 11 and his office won't say what happened. We ask the question everyone's thinking: is Mitch McConnell dead? 🎆 We simmer down to talk about what we did for the Fourth of July — and whether Taylor Swift is getting married. 💰 The New York Times revealed Trump and Commerce Secretary Lutnick cut a deal giving Don Jr. and Eric access to one of the world's largest tungsten reserves through a company run out of Trump Tower, with $1.6 billion in government financing. Trump's financial disclosure shows he made $2.24 billion in 2025 — more than all four years of his first term combined. Then Trump went on camera and admitted his sons are using insider information, saying "if they buy an energy-efficient truck, they have inside information." 📜 It's the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, so we read some of the founding fathers' grievances against King George III — blocking immigration, ignoring the judiciary, starting wars without consent, imposing taxes, eliminating jury trials — and ask Mom if any of that sounds familiar. 🕵️ Bill Pulte fired dozens of intelligence officials including staff at the National Counterterrorism Center, calling them "deep state." Meanwhile, 260 FBI analysts were pulled off actual crime investigations to search for voter fraud in the 2020 election. We ask: is America safer now? ⚖️ The Supreme Court had a massive week. They struck down Trump's attempt to end birthright citizenship, ruled states can ban transgender athletes from women's sports, and deregulated campaign finance — letting political parties spend unlimited money on elections. We break down all three. This might be our biggest episode ever. Buckle up. 🔔 Subscribe and hit the bell so you never miss an episode. 💬 Drop your thoughts in the comments — we read them all. #FourthOfJuly #America250 #StateFair #PatriotFront #McConnell #TrumpCorruption #DeclarationOfIndependence #SupremeCourt #BillPulte #TheNecessaryConversation #FamilyPodcast #PoliticalDebate #MAGA #Liberal If you have a question for anyone on the show, record it in a 1 minute or under audio or video clip and send it to: thenecessaryconversationpod@gmail.com

    Is Trump Close To Death?

This week on The Necessary Conversation, Chad, Haley, and Mary Lou discuss the biggest topics in politics. 💊 News broke that the FDA's "compassionate use" program — reserved for patients with serious or life-threatening conditions — was used to give a single 79-year-old man access to an unapproved experimental drug called Retatrutide. Trump was 79 when the request was made. The drug treats obesity, sleep apnea, and pulmonary hypertension — conditions that can be fatal in combination. The White House is denying it's Trump. We ask: should the president get special access to treatments no other American can? 💣 Week 18 of Trump's war. New reporting reveals the Joint Chiefs warned Trump before the war that striking Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz. He ignored them. The memorandum of understanding he signed is already falling apart as Iran launched drones at ships in the strait this week. The Senate voted to limit Trump's war powers, then blocked its own vote the next day. We ask Mom and Dad: how many weeks of war before you turn on him? Or is forever okay? 👻 Trump's Great American State Fair kicked off and almost nobody showed up. Trump posted it was "packed to the brim, at least 45,000 people." NBC estimated roughly 1,000. We ask: is MAGA abandoning Trump? 🎨 We simmer down to talk about our favorite pieces of visual art. 🛂 Trump posted the design of a new passport featuring his image superimposed over the Declaration of Independence with the caption "Welcome, but be good!" — apparently not understanding that passports are issued to Americans leaving the country, not people arriving. No sitting president or world leader has ever put their face on a passport. Not even the most authoritarian governments. ⚖️ The Supreme Court issued two 6-3 rulings effectively ending asylum in America, giving DHS unchecked power to deport Haitian and Syrian nationals and allowing the administration to turn away asylum seekers before they reach the border. Meanwhile, over 6,000 white South Africans have entered the U.S. under a refugee program — each receiving a gift bag with a tablet, an American flag, Trump's 1776 Commission report, PragerU materials, and a children's book accusing South Africa of "favoring the Black population." Afghan allies who served alongside U.S. troops got nothing. Many are still blocked from entry. 📖 Texas voted to mandate Bible stories as required reading for all 5.5 million public school students — no texts from any other religion included. The same day, Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick stood in the Oval Office and declared: "The separation of church and state is not in the Constitution, and from this day forward, that phrase should have no power over people of all faiths ever again." We ask Mom and Dad: should public schools force kids to read the Bible? This one goes deep. Buckle up. 🔔 Subscribe and hit the bell so you never miss an episode. 💬 Drop your thoughts in the comments — we read them all. #TrumpIran #Retatrutide #StateFair #Passport #SupremeCourt #Asylum #SouthAfrica #BibleInSchools #SeparationOfChurchAndState #TheNecessaryConversation #FamilyPodcast #PoliticalDebate #MAGA #Liberal If you have a question for anyone on the show, record it in a 1 minute or under audio or video clip and send it to: thenecessaryconversationpod@gmail.com

    Swamp Thing

This week on The Necessary Conversation, Chad (who just turned 50! 🎂), Haley, and Mary Lou celebrate Father's Day and discuss: 💣 Week 17 of Trump's war with Iran. Trump declared "The Deal is now complete" on Sunday. By Wednesday he and Iran's president signed a memorandum of understanding at Versailles. By Thursday, Israel broke the ceasefire with 12 air raids on Lebanon, killing 47 people. By Saturday, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz again. The deal is effectively dead. We ask Mom and Dad: why can't Trump close this deal, and why won't Netanyahu listen to him? 🟢 Trump promised to clean up the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool for under $2 million. It's now cost over $15 million, the "American Flag Blue" paint is peeling off in chunks, the water turned green with algae, and a 67-year-old three-time Olympian was arrested for touching a piece of already-detached liner. Both contracts were no-bid deals — one to a major Trump donor, the other to a company that had never held a federal contract. Trump blamed "Radical Left vandals." The National Guard was deployed to guard a peeling swimming pool. 👶 A police officer in Mississippi shot and killed 1-year-old Kohen Kartier Wiley in a Walmart parking lot. The mother says she was telling officers there was a baby in the car — and they fired anyway. The officer has not been named. Body camera footage hasn't been released. We ask a question that shouldn't need asking: are cops ever justified in killing a one-year-old? 🎉 We simmer down to celebrate Chad's 50th birthday. Mom shares her advice for the years ahead. 🏗️ Leaked internal records from the Washington Post reveal Trump's White House ballroom now costs $600 million — six times his original estimate — and taxpayers are paying for half of it through Secret Service, White House Military Office, and Executive Residence funds. This after Trump said repeatedly that taxpayers wouldn't pay "10 cents." We ask: did he lie? 🥊 At last week's White House UFC, fighter Josh Hokit used his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan to declare "Michelle Obama is a man." Dana White called it "nasty and false" but took no action. Trump smiled. The White House refused to condemn it. We ask Mom what she thinks — especially since Dad has said the same thing on this very show. 🚨 Federal prosecutors charged 15 people in Minnesota with conspiracy for protesting ICE, calling them an "antifa group." Twelve were arrested in early morning raids. When pressed, the U.S. Attorney couldn't cite a single injury to a federal agent. U.S. Marshals pepper-sprayed protesters outside the courthouse. We ask: is protesting ICE now a crime? Another massive week. Let's get into it. 🔔 Subscribe and hit the bell so you never miss an episode. 💬 Drop your thoughts in the comments — we read them all. #TrumpIran #ReflectingPool #BallroomLies #UFC250 #MichelleObama #Antifa #ICE #Mississippi #TheNecessaryConversation #FamilyPodcast #PoliticalDebate #MAGA #Liberal If you have a question for anyone on the show, record it in a 1 minute or under audio or video clip and send it to: thenecessaryconversationpod@gmail.com

    Trillionaire

This week on The Necessary Conversation, Chad, Haley, and Mary Lou are recording just hours before UFC Freedom 250 kicks off on the White House lawn. It's also Trump's 80th birthday, making him the oldest president in American history. 🎂 💰 Trump helped Elon Musk become the world's first trillionaire. SpaceX raised $75 billion in the biggest IPO in history — despite losing $4.9 billion last year. The Nasdaq and FTSE Russell changed their rules to fast-track SpaceX into their indexes, meaning your retirement fund could be forced to hold SpaceX stock whether you want it or not. At least 10 Trump administration officials disclosed holding tens of millions in SpaceX ahead of the IPO. 📈 A reporter asked Trump about inflation hitting 4.2%, the highest since 2023. His response: "No, I love it. I love the inflation." This is the same president who said in May he doesn't "think about Americans' financial situation" at all. We ask Mom and Dad if they still think he cares about regular people. 🔍 Bombshell reporting from the New York Times revealed that JD Vance led a Situation Room meeting last July specifically to protect Trump from the Epstein files. Attendees floated having Tucker Carlson interview Ghislaine Maxwell in prison, putting Vance on Joe Rogan to dilute the Epstein conversation, and even pardoning Maxwell. Their priority wasn't prosecuting anyone — it was protecting Trump. 🎉 We simmer down for a breather. 💣 Week 16 of Trump's war with Iran. A U.S. Apache helicopter was shot down, Iran attacked U.S. bases in Bahrain and Kuwait, and Iran claims U.S. strikes hit reservoirs supplying drinking water to 20,000 people. Trump said a deal would be signed by today — then said he wouldn't be there to sign it because he has to attend the UFC. When asked if negotiations were over, Trump said: "I couldn't care less... I thought they started to get very boring." No deal has been signed. 🥊 UFC Freedom 250 is happening tonight on the White House South Lawn beneath a 92-foot structure called "The Claw," with weigh-ins held at the Lincoln Memorial. Trump and the UFC are selling co-branded commemorative coins up to $11,999.99 with Trump's face on them. Trump's financial disclosure shows he bought TKO stock before announcing the event. Insider trading in plain sight. 😴 Trump turns 80 today and his age is showing. He fell asleep on camera for the second time in two weeks, and reporting revealed his "routine physical" at Walter Reed involved 22 doctors. We ask: is 80 too old to be president? Happy birthday, Mr. President. Now wake up. 🔔 Subscribe and hit the bell so you never miss an episode. 💬 Drop your thoughts in the comments. #ElonMusk #Trillionaire #SpaceX #Epstein #TrumpIran #UFC250 #SleepyDon #Inflation #TheNecessaryConversation #FamilyPodcast #PoliticalDebate #MAGA #Liberal If you have a question for anyone on the show, record it in a 1 minute or under audio or video clip and send it to: thenecessaryconversationpod@gmail.com
