She's also an acting coach and currently a theater professor at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Miriam just won a Tony Award for her portrayal of Mavis in the recent off and on Broadway revival of “The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window” alongside Rachel Brosnahan and Oscar Isaac.
