MOVIED!

If you like movies, if you like talking about movies, you’ll love this. Jake and Craig have some great bants, you can tell they’re really good friends and just freaking love movies. They both have experience making movies, too, so they have a cool behind-the-scenes take on things, too. Like, they talk about particularly cool shots in the movies and why, and stuff like that. Highly recommend it.

Most of the time I haven’t even seen the movies these guys discuss but I find this podcast really uplifting (well, aside from the freaking horror movie discussions) and engaging. Love how Craig and Jake really respect eachother’s opinions and listen to eachother’s points instead of fighting for the spotlight. They of course have their fair share of playful banter and nerdy arguments but it’s always in good faith. The movie discussion is super accessible and casual but these guys have clearly been around in the movie world and have some really interesting points to make about story structure, tropes, effective characterisation and all of that. Love it guys, keep up the good work!

No brainer for me to listen to Craig and Jake discuss movies. Have been following these two on YouTube for years and enjoy listening to their views (not just on films). Lots of fun, and I always learn something too. Thanks guys! Ali
