Michelin Stars to Neuroplasticity: Inder Virdi's Radical Career Pivot

Send us a text ✅ Subscribe now for more episodes  MPF Discussion with Inder   Michelin Stars to Neuroplasticity: Inder Virdi's Radical Career Pivot     From Michelin Stars to ME/CFS: What happens when a career in the high-pressure world of fine dining (alongside chefs like Heston Blumenthal) is suddenly interrupted by chronic fatigue syndrome? [Inder Virdi] shares his harrowing six-year journey from being bedridden to becoming a Nutritional Therapist and a student of neuroscience. We talk about the invisible nature of chronic illness, the power of retraining the brain, and why being a "generalist" might be your greatest superpower.   About Inder Inder started his career in the fast-paced world of fine dining, working alongside top chefs like Heston Blumenthal and Brett Graham at The Ledbury. In his early twenties, life took an unexpected turn when he developed chronic fatigue syndrome. The next six years were spent on a challenging journey to reclaim his health supporting his body and addressing underlying trauma. This experience completely reshaped his path and led him to retrain as a nutritional therapist, eventually going on to study neuroscience at King’s College London. Today, Inder runs a busy clinic where he’s dedicated to helping people with chronic illness and trauma and was a part of the research team at the Gupta Program, a neuroplasticity program designed for chronic conditions.     🎧 4 Key Takeaways for Listeners 1.       Invisible doesn’t mean imagined — chronic fatigue and brain fog are real, physiological conditions that deserve understanding. 2.       Trauma and stress can trap the body in “fight or flight,” making recovery harder — calming the nervous system is key. 3.       Small, consistent steps heal — from nutrition to mindfulness, progress often comes one gentle day at a time. 4.       Curiosity is medicine — approaching setbacks with openness can turn confusion into discovery.   Connect with Inder ·       Website: https://theneuropath.com/my-story-chronic-fatigue/ ·       Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/the_neuropath/    Paul: Contact Details MPF Website: https://www.myperfectfailure.com/ Subscribe to MPF YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@paulpadmore8275   Please Leave A Review I have a small favor to ask!
