Your friends are moving on. You're figuring out how to move forward. NEXT STOP is an audio sitcom about your mid-to-late 20s when everyone is changing around you—and you worry that you might not catch up. When longtime roommates Cam and Ally search for someone to replace their newly engaged former roommate, they stumble upon the iconoclast and ridiculous Samuel Clemens. Across its ten-episode first season, NEXT STOP follows these roommates’ trials through work, relationships, friendships and more.

Roommates Cam Chabon and Ally Lonergan are surprised when their longtime friend and roommate Gillian proposes to her girlfriend Ashley at their newly opened subway station. When Gillian announces she’s moving out, Cam and Ally must find someone to replace her as soon as possible.

The Red Flag
Now that Cam and Ally have secured recent city transplant and sweet weirdo Samuel Clemens as their roommate, they can get back to doing what they do best: making fools of themselves. Ally flirts with a train conductor who makes overly familiar PA announcements, and Cam bonds with a woman on the train about how much they hate those overly familiar train PA announcements.

Intro to Samuel 101
Cam and Ally are unsure about what Samuel does for work, which only seems more strange when Samuel pays for three months of rent at once. This leads to an involved heist as Ally distracts Samuel with a getting-to-know-you dinner at notorious Italian restaurant Joey Pepperoni’s Pasta Explosion while Cam calls in old-roommate-and-recently-never-there Gillian to break into Samuel’s computer.

The Boreanaz Paradox
Samuel’s mom is coming to visit and he’s a nervous wreck. Samuel tries to get his mom on the phone as she’s led through the city by famous actor David Boreanaz. The Train Office
Samuel has finally pushed himself into following his dream of writing for a TV show… but that doesn’t mean he can’t procrastinate to an unholy degree. Awesome Audio Drama
Having been a fan of Multitude for a couple of years I was very excited to hear they were producing an audio drama and it hasn't disappointed. It's very easy to listen to as well as being funny! I'm not usually a fan of audio drama (only having listened to one other) but I'm definitely enjoying this one and it's encouraging me to look into others.
So excited for the rest of this!
Loved Multitude’s other podcasts for a couple years now (got super into Spirits and then that led to the black hole of everything else), so was really excited for this new series. I usually struggle to focus on audiobooks and audio dramas, but this podcast is so relatable, fun and queer I’m totally hooked. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes, and would totally recommend to anyone looking for something chill and queer to listen to (especially during quarantine)!
Perfect Quarentine Listening
Having loved the other stuff that Multitude have put out, Join the party an awesome DnD actual play podcast, Potterless the story of a man who has never read Harry potter before and Spirits a spooky and cool dive into mythology, I knew I had to listen to this and absolutely loved it! The sound design is great and the humour is perfect for being stuck in the house and lightening any mood!
