No Small Rolls

This has become my go to daily podcast. I'm absorbed by the skilfully crafted story and the colourful characters. Ah, the characters! You will soon feel like a part of their party. You will soon find yourself missing them if you skip the podcast for just on day. And, inevitably, you will soon be proudly humming the epic theme tune at work. As a side effect, this podcast has introduced me to D&D and me and my friends have discovered this incredible game, which has changed our weekend evenings for life. And, thanks to No Small Rolls, we've learned a wonderful way to play D&D and enjoy role playing to its fullest. Thank you No Small Rolls! Don't miss it!

Having never played D&D, but always been curious, I was skeptical about how much I would enjoy listening to others play… But I thought I’d give it a go, and now I’m addicted! No Small Rolls is the perfect way to get lost in a fantasy world, and each character brings such a different energy. The story is complex and enthralling, told clearly and cleverly. So much humour too! I quickly caught up and now I’m always waiting for the newest episode to be released. The perfect companion to a long drive :)

After a chance encounter with a sparkly showbiz “gentleman” on a train earlier this year I was informed of this podcast. Being a big D&D fan, and a listener of some American D&D podcasts, I knew I would have to try it. Did it disappoint? A resounding no! I’m fancy I am fully up to date with the main campaign, and one of the side quests, itching to start the 2nd. Lets start with the cast of characters. Each one is different, with the balance of lovability and sheer infuriatingness perfectly held. You can tell that the players are trained actors using all of their skills, but most of all that they are having fun. Now for the DM. Baby David perfectly weaves stories, taking great cues from the miles of Matt Mercer and Brennan Lee Mulligan but doing his own thing that is just very him. His deadpan responses to the sheer tomfoolery of the ⭐️bracalad⚡️ is perfect, letting them get so far down the rabbit hole that r get the hilarity, but reeling them back to keep things on track. The biggest difference though is the humour. Don’t get me wrong, I love the humour in the other D&D pods, but having uniquely British references makes it something truly special. I love listening to the Fate-marked Five and their adventures and am looking forward to a lot more.

I am a huge, HUGE DnD and gaming nerd. I’m a huge nerd in general.. i devoured Season 1 of a certain famous DnD stream led by some guy called Matt in less than a month. I love that show and having finished season 2 of it needed another source of DnD goodness. I found No Small Rolls. I’d kinda heard an awesome performer i knew was starting a podcast but it had slipped my mind until i had that void. David and the crew are easily as engaging as that group. I’m now upto date in a matter of weeks and I don’t know what to do anymore!!!! 😭 I would sell a kidney to play at David’s table and get to live in that mind for a few hours!! And I’m in love with the entire cast. Just perfect.. Also as an autistic personage i truly appreciate how great the sound quality is, it trumps every other stream or podcast I’ve listened to, sensory overload is the bane (-d4 to all checks) of my life!! And No Small Roles just glides in through my ear holes without eldritch blasting my entire brain. No Con save required
