    Roles de género está definido como esas conductas, trabajos, actividades, comportamientos, etc. que socialmente pertenecen o son adecuados para un género. Aunque mucho ha cambiado, por ejemplo, que el hombre trabaje y la mujer se quede en la casa haciendo las tareas del hogar y cuidando a los niños, aún hay mucho camino que recorrer para retarlos. Pero para Pancho, nuestro invitado de hoy, las circunstancias lo llevaron a que fuera él el "Amo de casa a tiempo completo", como él lo llama.     In this episode I sit down with 3 breast cancer survivors that narrate their experiences of going through their breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, and the important to their state of mind to continue working and how that support of their workplace played a big role in their lives. This panel was part of an event I moderated called "Me and breast cancer at work" as part of a series of events of the WFFC foundation called Pink Notes.  Globally, in 2020, 2.3 million women were diagnosed with breast cancer. A survey reveals that 77 percent of working women with breast cancer, including those with metastatic disease, feel that working aids in their recovery. The Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce, Inc. is a professional association founded in 1982 to provide women in the flavour and fragrance industry a forum for networking, education, career advancement and camaraderie. WFFC strives to educate, engage and empower its members and with Pink Notes looks to provide women in the workplace with the support, advice and education they need.  Paula Flory is a WFFC board member, breast cancer survivor and CEO & Founder “Move Over Breast cancer". Patricia Florest is a breast cancer survivor and working mother. Glenda Mensah is a breast cancer survivor, the co-founder and chairwoman of the WFFC foundation, and currently works as an Account Director for Frallier.  Enjoy the episode!

    Just in time for Mental Health awareness week in the UK, this week we bring the topic of mental health in men with my friend and Dr. Louis Akindele.  Louis, no stranger to anxiety and its effects not only on his patients, but also on himself, sits today with us to talk about his experiences and the events that made him realise he had to take some action. Louis wrote a blog post earlier this year called Love and Anxiety in the times of covid, in which he exposes his personal struggles with anxiety and the physical symptoms that it brought, exposing very openly the physical symptoms most men experience but don't talk about, and would like this subject to be less taboo. Hoy nos sentamos con Gabriela, una de las hermanas que me regalo la vida para contarnos su diagnóstico, tratamiento y como ha cambiado su vida desde entonces.  El cáncer colorrectal es el 4to cáncer más diagnosticado en el mundo.
