On The Ground

This podcast does much to enlighten what we’re rarely told about. Blue on blue never ends well. And if it involves US as the blue perpetrators then accountability is invariably absent. US have a history of seeking accountability from others, but never subscribe to the same form of justice if it involves their military. And we (our military, our govt) are supine to them.

Interesting in to hear some of the tape footage from the time but this podcast, as a story, seems really forced and all about the host. No story here.

Having been involved in a similar blue on blue in the Gulf war that also involved US A10’s I found this difficult to listen too at times. How’re at the same time it helped to come to terms with what may have happened and why I feel the way I do at times.

A profound, touching and sobering piece of journalism reflecting on what really can happen when we ‘go to war’. When will we ever learn and what can we do to support our troops better when they return from these conflicts? Stories and coverage like this go some way to educate us all. Well done to all involved, thank you.
