Listened to the first episode and it was just two guys talking about how cool they are and how they love each other. Not one word of advice or their experience of giving up drink and the challenges. Pathetic.

I’ve just listened to Lucy’s episode from November 2023. This was the most powerful podcast I’ve listened to and it brought me to tears. Such a powerful yet tragic life story told so honestly by Lucy and handled so sensitively by Dave. Most podcasts I listen to are just junk food for the ears but this had such a deep impact on me, especially around the difficulties families face when the alcohol issues are treated as self-inflicted and therefore the fault of the individual. I’m so sorry for your loss Lucy. Thank you for sharing your family’s story.

Brilliant podcast about alcohol, great variety of guests and the conversations are inspirational. Dave is a great presenter and really lets his guests open up while offering his own insights. Keep up the good work.

Holy Jesus, just listened to Lucy’s story. Heart breaking. Sounds like a lovely person and courageous. Been through similar with my sister, only I didn’t have the same level of involvement. I was with her when she died, and I swore I’d never drink again but I did . Iv stopped now . Listening to Dave helps . Well done Lucy . Great show Dave keep going please

I am a huge fan of this podcast, I love listening to sober Dave and other peoples stories about their messed up relationships with booze as I can resonate with so many of them!
