Open Investigation

This new podcast seems well researched, and production is of a good standard. I would recommend deferring your listen if, like me, you just listened to the relevant episode of The Vanished - it felt a tiny bit slow/repetitive to me because I had just heard quite a bit of the core info on Vanished. But it seems unfair to knock off a star for that as it’s a quirk of my own timing as a listener! I thought that overall it was a strong start, and when the episode ended I noticed I was instantly frustrated not to be able to go onto the next one right away, which tends to be a sign of a strong pod. The creepy audio from the likely perp (not naming to avoid “spoilers” and giving this vile person notoriety) was also outstandingly creepy, but a good inclusion. What a truly horrible guy. Much sympathy to Melanie and, of course, to Andy’s surviving family.
