Hi, I’m Ashanti. I suffered from major postpartum anxiety, that ultimately became chronic anxiety, for years. I would open my eyes to a racing heart, avoid eating any foods that triggered stomach problems, and lacked the peace to sustain me through life’s challenges. I tried everything from breathing techniques, to exercise, even meditation! But nothing I did gave me the steady, inner calm that I was searching for. Then, one day while googling “medication for anxiety,” I broke down and cried out, “God, I know you never meant for me to live like this!” From that moment, I knew that if I wanted to be free, I had to apply God’s word to my life and change my thinking to align with His. God showed me His plan for peace, and I’ve been living in it ever since.     Have you ever wondered why you feel anxious even though you believe in God? Do you question if faith is enough to move this mountain in your life? In this episode, I share the truth about faith's power over fear and the 3 steps to begin activating that power right now in your life. I open up about the moment the Holy Spirit interrupted my anxious prayer and challenged me to pray for what I actually believe, and how that led me to rethink what I was living my life by. One thing I've learned in faith, is that what you choose to think about is what you choose to become.
