Friendly, accessible, and informative. That’s it. What more do you need to know? The titles of each episode give you what you need. Wanna know more? Read the other reviews, or buy a book on the universe. Or just go play Metroid Prime. What? You don’t like games? Well go get a life somewhere else. This is nice.

This is a really good way to finally get around to those good games you meant to play but for some reason haven’t. Especially the ones that really benefit from having a good discussion around them. 4 hosts create a nice vibe and all bring something different to the discussion. Love it.

Play through is the simplest of ideas: Play through games level by level, chapter by chapter or whatever speed you want; discuss your experience. The reason this particular show in a sea of gaming podcasts navigates itself so well is intrinsically connected to the hosts, who approach each game with an open mind and willingness to experience everything the game has to offer. This show already has me playing games I would have completely missed out on, reconsider ones I had a passing interest in and allow me to prioritise games “I should get around to playing” and if your a gamer is that not the most useful thing of all? 👾 Coop
