    In this exciting chat with the amazing Max Siegel (known by a select few as “Mr Dapper”), he explains who he is- a content creator, influencer, artist, speaker and educator. However he delves into what it feels like to not know yourself and what it was like to get to know his true authentic self.  He throws light onto why it is important to keep putting in the work into progression for LGBTQI+ rights- with mainstream media still not being on our side, to keep on speaking up is essential and progression is not a given. He touches on the story of how he entered into the fashion industry by a meeting in Dalston Superstore via Both& apparel and explains why clothing specifically made for AFAB bodies is so needed. Max recognises that queer people often struggle to feel that they deserve nice things, in the same way other people might. Therefore learning this is all part of the process. Saski and Max discuss issues that trans people might face when travelling that other people might not know about. They discuss why people outside the trans community feel they can ask intruding questions, and when people actually should be asking more questions (between you and your intimate partner).  Tune into this episode to learn more about what gender euphoria means, making space for “squeaky bum conversations” and get the skinny on his engagement! The perspectives of society about trans issues has changed as a result of her part in playing her character on Hollyoaks which ultimately led to legislations being changed in the UK to protect trans people. In this episode, you will find out what happened when Annie met Julia Grant, the only other trans woman she had to look up to on the screen.In the episode you’ll find out why Annie adores Manchester so much, what it was that really persuaded her to come out and what her specialist subject was on Mastermind.     In this episode, Saski sits down to talk with Joanne Monck OBE, a real life inspiration who has tirelessly been improving the lives of others since she came out and took the decision to live her true authentic self.  They discuss the very real ups and downs she has experienced along her journey, and at times this can be extremely difficult to hear. What is incredible is how she has channeled her experiences into making positive change. She picks out a few highlights that illustrate how the world is changing for the better. Joanne also provides her own opinions on the recent ruling on transgender women taking part in elite sports and why transgender women are always the point of discussion in the news. Make sure you listen in on this one to hear the amazingly touching response from her son to her coming out, what motivates her to drive onwards and what it was really like to receive an OBE from the Queen.  We absolutely loved having Joanne on the show and we hope you feel just as inspired as us after listening to her story.     Welcome to Pride Life Presents…Eva Echo! In this very special first episode of the series, Saski speaks to trans activist and inspiration, Eva Echo.  Eva is a woman that has been on her own unique journey, moving from the spotlight as a successful musician and finding her own authentic self. Now, she is determined to make positive changes for the trans community and make lives better for the next generation of trans people by using her voice and being “too stubborn to let hate win”.  In the episode, Eva talks about her own journey, before she came out, and now what it’s like being recognised in public and dealing with trolls. Eva and Saski discuss the lack of action by the government towards trans conversion therapy and the dangers for trans youths as a result.
