This fortnightly film chat used to be a favourite but things have changed. One of the usual triumvirate on the pod has encyclopaedic knowledge and a wealth of interesting insights to share. Frustratingly, they get to say very little these days due to continuous interruption by, let’s refer to them as, “the Dog Ate My Homework”. Some us would really like to hear what the former has to say - is that too much to ask? It’s taken a long while to dawn on me, but I enjoy the rest of the content - a lot of effort goes into it - and I’d like to remain optimistic. Fingers crossed for a new beginning! 🙏🏻
