Puck Soup Sean McIndoe, Ryan Lambert

We're Sean "Down Goes Brown" McIndoe of The Athletic and Ryan Lambert of EP Rinkside and this is a hockey podcast, in the sense that we talk about hockey, both on the ice and about fan culture. That’s the “puck.” This is also a podcast about movies, TV, fast food, life lessons and general idiocy. That’s the “soup.” Unless you ordered the minestrone.

Customer Reviews
One sticking point
I like the podcast content wise. The only thing is that one of of the hosts speaks with this overly macho, growly wrestler voice that I find a bit silly. It’s distracting to listen to but not a deal breaker.
Hilarious
Great hockey podcast - Only downside comes from the Health IQ spots reminding me just how much of an awful, greasy, poor nutrition life I’ve led thus far.
Great if you dislike modern hockey
While a few years ago I may have given this a 4 star review, in recent years the tone of the podcast has changed. While Greg still maintains his love for the sport, he can find him self coming into conflict with other commentators who represent the voice of the embittered hockey fan. While I like both sides of the coin being represented on occasion, it can be tiresome listening to a podcast about a sport you love where the presenters show scant respect for hockey fans, the organisations or the way the sport itself is played in the modern era. If you want to listen to a podcast where it sounds like the presenters have been tied to a chair and forced to talk about a sport they stopped loving a long time ago, this is it.
