Welcome Back Bunglers! ⚡ Ryan, David, and Zack welcome a true legend of Third Earth to Radical Retro Rewind as ThunderCats writer, story editor, and showrunner Peter Lawrence joins the show for an unforgettable conversation celebrating the original 1985 series. Born in Central Africa and later building a career in television, film, and publishing, Peter Lawrence helped shape the mythology and spirit of ThunderCats as script editor and writer for Rankin/Bass. 5. Episode 182: "Dollhouse" TV Show (2009–2010)

Episode 182: "Dollhouse" TV Show (2009–2010)

Welcome Back Radical Ones! ⚡️ Did I fall asleep? This week, Ryan and guest co-host Cadu revisit the two-season Joss Whedon series "Dollhouse", starring Eliza Dushku, and take a look back at the sci-fi drama that left a lasting impression despite its short run. We discuss the show’s premise, standout moments, memorable characters, and the themes of identity, memory, and control that made it so compelling. Also in this episode, we are thrilled to share a special message from acclaimed singer-songwriter Jonatha Brooke, whose unforgettable theme song, “What You Don’t Know,” became such a vital part of Dollhouse and its haunting atmosphere. A celebrated folk-rock artist, guitarist, and composer, Jonatha has built an impressive career through decades of powerful musical storytelling. Known for her rich vocals and deeply emotional songwriting, she has released numerous albums and has also written music for film and television, including Disney projects. It is a full retrospective on a series that may have only lasted two seasons but still gave us plenty to talk about. "The story follows Echo (Eliza Dushku), a "doll" or "Active" for the Los Angeles "Dollhouse", one of several facilities, called "Houses", run by a company which hires out human beings to wealthy clients. These "engagements" range from romantic interludes to high-risk criminal enterprises. Each Active has their original memories wiped and exists in a childlike blank state until programmed via the insertion of new memories and personalities for each mission." Starring: Eliza Dushku,Tahmoh Penikett, Harry Lennix, Fran Kranz, Enver Gjokaj, Dichen Lachman, Olivia Williams, ⚡️Cadu On Instagram Please Like 👍 Comment 📝 and Subscribe ✔️ to support the channel! ⚡️Davids Instagram:  ⚡️Radical Ryan's Instagram THUNDERCATS INSTAGRAMINSTAGRAM TWITTER⚡️For Business Inquiries & Beyond: Ryanhunterstudios@gmail.com Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
