Thoroughly enjoyable
I don’t actually like or listen to podcasts. When Duolingo announced this I was sceptical. But now I’m gutted that the season has finished! I loved studying English Language at school, and still maintain a general interest. This podcast only feeds that interest, without getting too technical. It has a light and accessible tone, while brushing on the more meaty subjects that I can get my teeth into in with personal research. Fantastic.
Wow
Not normally a huge fan of podcasts in general but this might have converted me! Very engaging and feel like I’ve learned so much from both a linguistic/scientific and an ethical/cultural stand point. I’m so excited for the rest of the episodes to come out!
Pretty Good
Very satisfies and very interesting - good if you like learning about languages. But they keep having to highlight the fact that x, y or z person is white… why does that matter? Overall though - pretty good!
