    He shares the story of losing his job in the building industry at age 48 how he dealt with the news and the emotions he felt having to claim job seekers allowance!



    Tony joined an exeuctive job club and that helped him start on the path to carving out a brand new career. Positivity, drive and the desire to help others as well as himself is what kept him going when the first job he got didn't last.

    In this episode I explore the hidden opportunities that can be found in changes that affect your daily routine and allow you to discover whats possible.



    It's so easy to keep on doing the known, after all we know the brain loves familiarity and routine, (Known and familiar = safe = we're not going to die!) but when we get the chance to do things differently how often do we stop ourselves from even giving it a go?



    I talk about why a recent 'forced' change has enabled me to get curious, do things differently and potentially change the whol estructure of my day.



    If you have trouble 'allowing' yourself to try something different, I want to encourage you to tale a deep breath and have a go, because you'll never now 'til you have a go!

    In this solo episode I delve into resistance and unravel why its not bad or good, it depends!



    Resisting going backwards and doing an old habit that you used to do but doesn't serve you is a positive, for example hitting snooze on your alarm clock in the morning.



    But resisting letting go of what you've always done or said around others, because you are scared of what it will feel like or how they will respond...



    ... is going to stop you from getting what you say you want, and keep you feeling stuck and out of alignment with yourself.



    I talk about what that can feel like for many of us and thats why we try to fill the 'void' with food, drink, exercise and more.

    In this solo episode I talk about why we may be reluctant to feel compassionate with ourselves, but why, if we want to reduce stress and anxiety long term creating a self-compassion practice is a must do!



    Self-compassion is NOT letting yourself off the hook, nor is it selfish!



    It's one of the keys components to improving confidence and building self-worth.
