Mummy Minute #03 - Warm Bodies

Mummy Minute #03 - Warm Bodies

Alex Falcone and Ezra Fox accidentally became mummy romance experts when they wrote their best-selling young adult novel (http://unwrapmyheart.com). For Spooktober they're reviewing three classic pieces of mummy pop culture and analyzing how good the mummies are if they can get it. Today they dive into a young-adult romance that is close to mummies but crucially different: zombies. With Warm Bodies (2016) we find out why zombies bit the love bug before mummies did. It's the gushy boys vs the bony boys on the finale of Mummy Minute. #podcast #moviereview #zombies #monsters #monstermovie #spooky #halloween

Read it and Weep

I look forward every week to laughing on my commute. Thanks to Read it and Weep, I get personal space on the train once a week.

Like a fun night in with your mates

I love this podcast; Alex, Chris, Ezra, and their revolving door of great guests and semi-regulars poke fun at everything from purple prose to massive film flops to guilty pleasures, and everything in between thanks to their listener-sponsored topics. But it never feels overly malicious, childish or mean-spirited (helped by the 'compliment sandwich' format to the show), it just feels like a really spirited but good-natured post-match conversation with some friends over a pizza and beer. Also extra kudos for having such a high percentage of female guests, it's SO REFRESHING when most review programs are such a boys-club that can easily turn into unnecessarily bashing girly things as an easy target, or not giving sexist elements in the fiction a proper grilling (keep rocking, Tanya et al!). Here's to another 300 episodes, meatsuits! DANTE'S COVE, DANTE'S COVE!

Read It and Weep... with laughter!!!

I love this podcast, laugh out loud so many times when listening, it is unreal. I love the fact that I can enjoy Chris, Ezra and Alex's hilarious thoughts without actually having to subject myself to these TERRIBLE novels, films and shows, so thanks guys! It is something to look forward to each week and I hope you keep making hundreds more episodes of my favourite podcast!!! xx
