Working from home is also challenging, especially if you usually work in an office.

And job loss and redundancies can be difficult if you're trying to deal with it on your own.

That's why I want to help by bringing people together for a group chat (via Zoom), to connect and see if there are ways in which we can help each other.

We can chat about most things it doesn't have to be too formal. But as a career coach and former recruiter and remote business owner and father of 3, I can add some value or answer questions you might have on specific aspects.

So....Join me and others for a virtual coffee by completing the form below as it's invite-only and so we can weed out spammers and time-wasters.

RWL 052 - The Coronavirus Lockdown Has Got Me Thinking About What I'm Grateful For

RWL 052 - The Coronavirus Lockdown Has Got Me Thinking About What I'm Grateful For

It's Alex Wilson-Campbell from the Remote Work Life Podcast here.
Something a bit different today.  I recorded a podcast while out and about on my daily stroll because I was thinking about what I'm grateful for.
I talk through some of the things that I really appreciate in life and I'm thankful for.
So expect to hear about the weather, geese, my family and friends my know-how where physical health is concerned (and I make reference to the  Traveling Ergonomist which is useful if you're setting up your home office) ... among other topics..
What do you have to be grateful for?
I think it's important to think about that, especially in these trying times.
We're being constantly pushed information about what's going on in the world and that can have sometimes a detrimental effect on mental health.
So it's important, to balance that out and think about things that you are grateful for and talk to your friends, talk to your family and make sure you keep the communication going as well.

RWL 051 - Alina Vandenberghe, CEO Chili Piper: From Corporate High Flyer To Entrepreneurial Tech Leader

RWL 051 - Alina Vandenberghe, CEO Chili Piper: From Corporate High Flyer To Entrepreneurial Tech Leader

I had a great conversation with the CPO of Chili Piper, Alina Vandenberghe who started her entrepreneurial journey in high school selling lipstick.

She’s a true inspiration to parents everywhere because she’s balancing motherhood and running two businesses!!

Alina says that entrepreneurship fits her like a glove and I totally agree because she endured challenges to reach the pinnacle of her career and create products that solve important problems.

She said “I founded Chili Piper that boosts buyer engagement for cool companies like Airbnb, Twillio, Eventbrite and thousands of others.

I am also co-founder at GipsyBot where we're building the first intelligent, AI-powered todo list”

And you can bet there’s much more to come from Alina and Chili Piper so I recommend listening to her story on the remote work life podcast.
    You'll Learn:
    >> How she got into tech from an early age to eventually become CPO and Founder of two tech businesses
    >> About her career journey and how she developed an affinity to entrepreneurship
    >> About her life growing up in communist Romania and the drivers that spurred her to start her first business while at school
    >> How she escaped her corporate 9-5 career and discovered that she was an entrepreneur
    >> The steps she went through to figure out her natural talents and passion
