Jonathan's research has encompassed DVD special features; Japanese anime and processes of subtitling and dubbing; feature film adaptations of anime. We talked about a heart warming research project where Jon is working to preserve UK based Neo magazine that  covers east asian popular culture which has recently stopped publishing.
