Throughout the Old Testament, we see everything pointing towards one thing. The coming of Jesus Christ as the Saviour. Here's an example from the prophet Isaiah.

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
