Intuition or Fear? Why It Doesn't Always Feel Good

Intuition doesn't always feel peaceful. Sometimes it asks you to do the thing you really don't want to do. Sunny opens with a story from almost thirty years ago. A friend called and asked her to meet at Sam's Club. She said no. Twice. Then something told her to call back and go anyway, and what happened when she got there changed how she understood her own guidance for the next three decades. The second story is the opposite. A trip to Hawaii she nearly cancelled, where what felt like a warning turned out to be something else entirely. From there, a real conversation about how to tell the two apart. Why intuition gives you information and fear builds a story around it. Why the first feeling is usually the true one and the forty-fifth one isn't. And why intuition doesn't always feel good, which is the part most people get wrong. Plus the Heart to Heart segment, with questions from the community. In this episode: 00:00 Welcome and today's question 01:05 The phone call I didn't want to take 05:05 Is there a doctor in the building? 06:30 Holding his hand 12:23 The football jersey funeral 13:25 The trip I almost cancelled 16:37 Intuition or fear, the real difference 17:51 What intuition actually feels like 19:55 What fear feels like 23:56 Intuition is the signal, not the story 25:15 Why intuition doesn't always feel good 27:53 Four questions to ask yourself 33:03 Why you only ever get the next step 36:35 Psychic Investigation class, September 15 39:28 When you're too attached to the answer 43:27 The wooden hearts at Marshalls 50:06 You're going to get it wrong sometimes 51:35 Heart to Heart with Sunny 52:28 Should I ask other people first? 53:53 What if I'm not a fear-based person? 54:35 Your opinion of me is none of my business 56:11 Anxiety and excitement feel identical Mentioned in this episode: Psychic Investigation, a live class with Sunny. Can You Be Heartbroken and Happy at the Same Time?

Can you be heartbroken and happy at the same time? Can you experience grief, sadness, or loss and still allow yourself to laugh, feel joy, and keep living? In this episode of SolTalk with Sunny Dawn Johnston, Sunny explores the complicated relationship between grief, happiness, healing, and choosing joy when life hurts. After recently celebrating the life of her dear friend Robin, Sunny shares what she is discovering firsthand about grief. The pain does not simply disappear, but neither does your ability to experience happiness. In fact, one of the most important messages in this conversation is that grief and joy do not have to be opposites. You can miss someone deeply and still laugh. You can hurt and still experience a beautiful moment. You can grieve and still choose to live. As Sunny explains, laughter and happiness after loss do not erase your love or mean that you've “moved on.” We are capable of holding grief and happiness at the same time. Sunny also shares a hilarious real-life story about attending an outdoor concert that turned into an unforgettable Arizona storm filled with wind, rain, hail, mud and chaos. While some people became angry and frustrated, Sunny found herself laughing and even dancing in the rain. It became a powerful reminder: We cannot always choose what happens in life, but we can choose how we participate in it. In this episode, you'll discover: • How grief and happiness can coexist • Why feeling joy does not dishonor someone you've lost • How to find happiness even when circumstances are difficult • Why waiting for everything to be “okay” can keep us from living • How changing your perspective can change your experience • Where happiness may already be available in your life today • How our loved ones in spirit can remain connected with us Sunny encourages us to stop waiting for the perfect circumstances before allowing ourselves to feel good and instead begin noticing the small places where happiness is already available. Free Grief WebinarIf you are navigating grief from the death of a loved one, a relationship, or another major life transition, Sunny invites you to join her FREE grief webinar on August 19. 👉 schooloflight.biz/webinar Sunny will explore the real experience of grief, including love, pain, anger, laughter, guilt, healing, and learning how to keep living while honoring someone who is no longer physically here.

The One Thing Nobody Tells You About Grief

Are you tired of being told you should be "over it" by now? In this powerful episode of Soltalk, Sunny Dawn Johnston challenges the traditional "Five Stages of Grief" script we've all been handed. Drawing from her 30+ years of experience as a hospice volunteer, medium, and spiritual teacher, Sunny shares why there is no "right" timeline for grieving, and why the goal isn't to find closure, but to build a new relationship with your loved one in spirit. Because the truth is: Love does not end when the physical body dies; it simply changes form. Watch to discover how to process the energy of grief, recognize visitations versus normal dreams, and call upon Archangel Azrael for comfort during your darkest moments. ✨ JOIN THE FREE WEBINAR: Struggling with loss?
