Something special.

There’s something a bit special in the way David Ridgen conducts his investigations. With a shared empathy for those he meets along the way, he manages to touch their human emotions and frailties. No big expose or flashy journalism here, just thoughtful and methodical sifting of facts with an overriding wish to get to the truth. Marvellous!

Fascinating and heartbreaking in equal measure

I’ve only listened to S1 but managed to do so in less than a week while driving in the car. This is a fascinating story and while the conclusion may not be what you’d want / hope for, the journey to get there is excellent. This isn’t, in my view, any way exploiting the family or the disappearance and genuinely seems to offer the family some comfort. The investigator / podcaster has a calming aura about him and while it’s all edited to keep you coming back for more (with cliffhangers of a sort) it’s done tastefully. I look forward to hearing more from this series and can also thoroughly recommend Bowraville to anyone who appreciates this series.

Rigden’s gentle persistence and empathy make SKS something really special and at times, incredibly moving.
