13 - Andy Hosgood - I was told I’d never make it in physiotherapy but I did it anyway

In episode thirteen of Someone's Gotta Do It, I sit down with Andy Hosgood. Andy left university being told he would never amount to anything in the world of physiotherapy. What followed was a career that proved every single one of those doubters wrong. He talks about growing up moving around constantly and developing an ability to connect with absolutely anyone, failing his A-Levels and being offered a university place purely on the strength of his people skills, and building two physiotherapy practices from into thriving businesses that still run today. He also opens up about working as a physio for a Premier League football club, inside one of the UK's top MMA gyms before running Summit Physio and building it into what it is today. Andy also now mentors leaders and has a fantastic podcast called Unlocking human potential. This one is about what happens when the people don’t believe in you and you back yourself anyway. 8 - Jack Clarke - From 999 calls to coffee shop ownership in my unexpected career path

In episode eight of Someone's Gotta Do It, I sit down with Jack Clarke. Jack’s career path takes more turns than anyone I've spoken to so far. Graphic design, customer service, complaints handling, answering 999 calls, travelling the world for a pet company, and a redundancy that left him with nothing before a chance conversation with a local business owner led to selling coffees and donuts from a tuktuk van in Chorley. His passion for coffee and customer interaction then found him opening his own coffee shop. Jack now owns and runs one of the best coffee shops in Preston. He talks about discovering his passion for customer experience in the most unexpected places, what it takes to bounce back from rock bottom, and why sometimes the best opportunities come from the conversations you never planned to have. This story was fantastic and an absolute pleasure to record. You can find Jack’s coffee shop on instagram @lifelatelylifelately Life Lately is on Winkley Street in Preston PR1 2AA and is well worth a visit if you are in the area. Amazing coffee, branding and decor.  You can follow us on social media for behind the scenes content; Instagram - Someonesgottadoitpodcast TikTok - Someonesgottadoitpodcast Facebook - Someonesgottadoitpodcast YouTube - Someonesgottadoitpod All feedback and guest suggestions welcomed! - callan@someonesgottadoit.co.uk Please subscribe, like, share, follow and comment This episode is sponsored by two-putts - www.two-putts.com Use discount code ’SGDI’ for 15% off your order
