Infectiously joyful read through of all of 2000AD, several issues at a time, so it's nice and fast paced. If you ever wondered if you should give 2000AD a go, the answer is yes! If you want more details why, just listen to any episode of this podcast and you'll be a convert in under 15 minutes. Guaranteed! Look, they’re really getting deep into 1990s 2000AD right now which may not be the best read but it the most ripe for discussion and podcast hilarity.

The premise of the show (2x yanks reading the Prog from issue 1) shouldn’t work but it does! Conrad and Fox are warm and friendly, hilarious and passionate, and crazy for undertaking this!! Reignited my love for the early days and has damaged my credit card searching for those trades! Love these guys!

As an golden age 2000AD reader from Prog 86 to 500 odd, this is a great nostalgia trip to revisit the classic age of 2000AD through the eyes of a couple of US friends who haven't really read UK anthology comics, let alone 2000AD before. What really makes this podcast is the genuine friendship between the two preseners, something that you don't get that often in podcasts (Phil and Phill's Perfect 10 comes to mind as something similar in this respect). If you've never read 2000AD, maybe just heard of Judge Dredd via the 2 film adaptions or are intrigued that Duncan Jones is making a Rogue Tropper film, then you should get a lot out of it so, given that it's a view of the comic that is more accessible than that of of those have read it for 40 years. TIP - If you're new to 2000AD, either start at episode 1 or the new listener episode that's between episodes 75 and 76.

The enthusiasm is infectious. Left me brimming with nostalgia.
