Brilliant

A great podcast. Knowledgeable host and very interesting guests. Wide range of topics across spy books and films. Loving it!! A broad church encompassing real and fiction, movie and novel. I heartily recommend!

A secret weapon in my spy fandom

Sometimes it's not enough just to read spy novels or watch spy movies - if you're looking to take your espionage fandom to the next level then this is the podcast for you. In-depth book reviews and fascinating interviews with spy authors, experts and fans, this is brilliant podcast that is well worth your time.

Update: Just lost all credibility!

Rating and reviews of spy authors both old and new. Quality dipped when the students of Edinburgh University were allowed to take over and tried to judge 50s and 60s written works in the context of modern thinking about sexism, politics et al which I think detracted from the good work Shane had put in to that point.

Update: This podcast has now lost all credibility. In a recent review of a spy series vs the film, one of the panel, on her own admission, based a review of 13 episodes on viewing 15 mins of one episode...NOT a podcast I'll be listening to in the future.
