Out of the few D&D podcasts I have listened to, this is by far my favourite, and indeed, my favourite podcast in general. After binge listening for months, I am finally caught up. The story is really engaging, and the narrative is made yet more interesting by the role-play, which is a big part of the game. As a 13 year-old, I appreciate that this podcast is family friendly, so everyone can enjoy it. Stack O’ Dice is also really great for people learning how to play D&D. After listening to this, I gained a much better understanding of the game and ended up running a campaign of my own. Creation Corner episodes provide helpful insights into aspects of the game as well as taking inspiration from real-world places and cultures. I, myself, have been to Cornwall (featured in ep. 288), and it is as vibrant and interesting as described. Enough of the conversation and joking between players is left in for the listener to feel as if they were at the table, playing the game with them. Thank you very much, Stack O’ Dice, for a very enjoyable listen. (Also, if this is read out, my I request that it is read out by my favourite character, Feverfew, who I am forced to quote every time I say the word ‘library’.)
