Is this an episode of ‘I love films?’
I can’t profess to being a podcast connoisseur but this is one of the handful I never miss an episode of since I found it. Taking film seriously but not themselves too seriously, paul and new host grace have a good rapport whilst only knowing each other and their tastes recently which brings an interesting facet to them discovering films and what they each like or hate about them interesting. They seem knowledgeable whilst still discovering lots which keeps an enthusiastic whilst grounded feel to proceedings and serves as a good prompter to check out new and old stuff. The what have you been watching and the top fives both are enjoyable for the random films they throw up which perfectly suits a Netflix era whilst the obvious love both of them have for cinema does a good job of motivating one to get out of the house to catch a movie on the big screen. Also as a side note, listening as I do on headphones, I have noticed an improvement in the Audio quality in recent shows which is nice on the ear for long listens! 👍🏻🎧
