This is a dental podcast where I share what I have learned as a “super GP” and the challenges and successes I have experienced as a clinician and a dental practice owner. To ask a question or leave a comment for the show and have me answer/respond to it live on the show, leave a voice message at this link: https://www.speakpipe.com/SuperGP_Podcast A super GP is just a dentist who provides a wide range of clinical procedures, from implants to IV sedation to bread and butter dentistry and orthodontics. I believe that it is a great way to practice, but it’s not the only way and I want to make sure that anyone who thinks they want to get into this practice model can “look before they leap”. I also want this to be a place where other super GPs can get support and encouragement. We will talk dental business here. We will talk clinical. We will talk about life as a dentist. We will talk about everything dental and dental-adjacent. Really, this is just a place where one dentist is being honest and inviting others to do the same so that we can all grow together.     Restaurant Medical Emergency: Lessons Learned and Dental Office Applications

    What would you do? This restaurant medical emergency happened 1 year ago. I still think about it and wonder what was going on and if she is ok. Medical emergency services did arrive and take over and as far as I know she was fine. I didn’t handle the situation perfectly, and what I learned is that you may have difficulty getting bystanders to help. You also are probably not going to know exactly what is going on in most cases. Try to support the person as best as you can until EMTs arrive. #emt #paramedic #dentistlife #StoryTime #RealLifeMoments
