The Amelia Project is a secret agency that fakes its clients' deaths, then lets them reappear with a brand new identity! A black comedy full of secrets, twists... and cocoa. The series starts as a succession of interviews with clients who want to fake their deaths, then slowly a larger narrative begins to emerge... Each episode tells its own story, but we recommend starting with Season 1.

🥂☕️🍾 Best in the Business

Well what can I say. This cast is like a bottle of veuve clicquot or the very best of hot chocolate from les deux magot. This has to be the best podcast ever created. I love every episode. It’s once in a life time that something is created and everything just fits perfectly. The character chemistry is spot on, the storyline is amazing, the sound design all done so professionally. They really have nailed this podcast. Netflix or Amazon need to make this into a show it would be an instant hit. The story straight from start is great and it just keeps getting better and better. This has made my long drives from job to job so much more enjoyable. Thank you so much and can’t wait to see how this all plays out until the very end.

From the ridiculous …to the sublime

This takes a really interesting conceit - helping people fake their own deaths - into some wonderful places. Seasons 1 and 2 were funny and quirky. I became affectionately attached to all of the characters from the wonderful Interviewer down to the secret service agents on both sides of the pond. Season 3 introduced new complexity but Season 4 had me totally hooked as comedy moves to mystery, magic and pathos.
This has a literary feel, an indulgent presence and some stunning musical scoring.

Highly recommended.
