I wanted to hear about how she got into the industry, what it's like to work in music and also how she manages her work around having a young family. Sarah takes us on the journey from helping out her boyfriend book DJs for gigs whilst she was at uni, to helping her brother who was plating guitar for an up and coming artist called ADELE! to then taking on the second and third finalists in the X factor and managing Olly still to this day.     In this episode we meet Nic Lamont introduced to me by Lynne Parker of Funny Women fame. I loved talking to Nic to find out how she had decided to go into acting in the first place and how she found her dark comedy niche. I was interested to hear how she bolsters the uncertainty of acting work with 'money jobs' and how she navigated the pandemic, being pregnant and then becoming a new mum whilst also being an actress. I loved to hear that now she has her family she is more decisive on what she will and won't do, has written her own work and most recently set up a community project.     Private Jet broker or Geography Professor? Georgina Heron tells us what it's like to be the Director of Transformation at ACS

    On this episode, I speak to Georgina Heron, one of the people who inspired this podcast. I was interested to hear what it was like working for a private jet company, especially in the pandemic. Georgina talked about how she worked her way up through the company from starting there in her university holidays. We discussed what it was like working her way up the company to director, being on call 24/7 and then having a maternity leave during the pandemic. After maternity leave, Georgina worked with her employer to work out the best role for her skills and the business to accommodate the fact she now had a young family.     Sam Smith- one of the only female CEOs of a city stock broking firm FinnCap

    I was so excited to speak to Sam especially after the news that she was going to be stepping down as Group CEO of FinnCap Group, a company she had started up and led for 24 years. I wanted to learn how she got there, what made her make the decisions she did, how she had found the transition from leading a division to becoming CEO. There have been ups and downs and she has learned a lot from her already impressive career. I also wanted to find out what was next for Sam, she is championing so much for younger people and less fortunate to be able to have opportunities and now the world is her oyster.
