Ellis Capon ,

A brilliant pod full of amazing insight

Stephen has a certain way of putting across information to you in such a digestible and simple way. I’ve certainly learned a lot listening to this podcast and it’s helped me make some key decisions in my career. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone working in design, product, technology or anyone who needs to learn about leadership!

Thank you Stephen, I owe you a drink!

After 15 years as Creative Manager in the Print Publishing industry, I decided to take a dive and retrain as UX Designer. I loved it and got freelance work almost straight away, but I felt so insicure about my skills and didn't know how to go on about looking for permanent work.
Every day during lockdown I went for a long walk and listened to Stephen's voice, one episode a day, and slowly slowly my confidence grew: I started to believe that I could make it as a UX designer! I followed Stephen's advice on how to create one's personal brand, how to stick to what you believe in, to create a good portfolio, to conduct an interview.. All this paid off and I just got offered a position as UX Designer! If you ever come to London stephen I'll get you a pint! thank you so much for helping me in this new exciting career :)

Obnoxious

I listened to his first 12 episodes and was willing to give him a chance or see him improve in the medium, but I can’t anymore. I hope by now he has become a more humble person, but as far as I’ve heard he is too full of himself
