Brilliant
Been a fan of TLDR for 5 years. I find them absolutely brilliant
Decent content let down by readers
I do like this podcast as it gives a good summary of the main stories as well as some of the lesser known ones.
However I have to say, this is let down by the female reader who I really struggle to listen to. She speaks far too quickly and often mispronounces words, making it very hard to follow.
Other than that a a pretty good podcast.
Best News Ever
News has become an echo chamber – you listen to what you agree with, and slowly your views cement themselves into unchanging opinions constantly restrengthened by the news you choose to listen to. Fox News and CNN are great examples. TLDR gives unbiased news, presenting the facts, and not wasting time pushing an agenda. The Daily Briefing is an amazing example and to top it all, the Briefing is short and concise, presenting a thorough but short bulletin of a variety of stories from all over the world, though admittedly with a slight focus on the UK, USA, and EU, though this is understandable considering their base.
