The Dark Somnium

I listen to a lot of creepy pasta, true stories, short / long narration and have done for best part of 10 years. Though I listen to dark somnium daily. It gets me through the long 9 hour shifts at work. Stories are always gripping, his narration is brilliant and his guests are equally as talented. The guy puts a lot of effort into the stories he reads no one else adds sound effects and their own music like this guy does. Truly cinematic. I’m sad to have slowly nearly finished the catalogue:( can’t wait for new content.

This is the best horror podcast I’ve found. The narration is consistently excellent and very easy to listen to. The stories chosen are interesting and the production quality is fantastic. It’s more like a professional radio production than any other podcasts I’ve listened to in this genre. Brilliant work!

A lot of work has been put into these which I really appreciate. Though the older ones don’t have this, I really like how every character has their own voice actor. Very immersive story telling, 10/10 love it.
