The Garden Log

I’ve almost finished listening to all the back episodes of the garden log and I wait with baited breath for a new one! Have you retired from gardening?? Or maybe just writing more books?? Looking forward to your return 😊

I was despondent when you announced that you were moving to pastures new, as this is one of my favourite podcasts, and I feared that it would cease to exist. However, what a delight that you are back 🙂 It will be fascinating to hear about plants and gardening in a new country, and I look forward to all the other amusing happenings along the way.

So tired of the vapid wittering of most podcasts - this one is heaven. Low key, serious, funny, like entering another world. I do wonder where Ben is riding his bike to work....Hampstead? St John’s Wood? I think we need a map please, Ben.

Glad it’s back 😁 As a fellow estate gardener I can completely emphasise with Ben! The seasons, planting, pruning and harvesting, the weather hot, sun, rain, frosts how wonderful to hear someone who is completing the same tasks as me at the same time to the same age old rhythm of the seasons! All told with humour, wit and complete joy in being able to work in what must be a fabulous garden, with the descriptions of the flora and fauna I can visualise it all in my minds eye. The podcast is obviously from the heart, please don’t stop Ben I look forward to every episode!!
