Best Yet

The Grognard Files goes from strength to strength! The lastest episode is the best yet: a droll interview, an absorbing First, Last and Everything, and best of all Dirk and Blythy's hilarious account of their LARPing fiasco in a post-apocalyptic bungalow ruin in exotic Newton-le -Willows.
As others have commented, this is niche podcast but if 80's RPG's (and 70's and 80's Sci-fi & Fantasy) are your thing then this is the podcast for you.

Excellent

Very much a niche podcast; but if it’s your niche, it could scarcely be better. Its gentle good humour has helped me through some dark days. It’s basically what my teenage years would have been, if I had been a much, much nicer person.

Just amazing

The Grodnard files takes me back to school lunchtimes huddles around a copy of the Warlock of Firetop Mountain with friends debating what action to take next (we always did end up killing that poor prisoner with the chair leg). From there came Advanced Dungeon and Dragons (for some reason lusting over the succubus), Twilight 2000, MERPS and many more worlds of adventures to explore. As another reawakened gamer this podcast is essential listening and each episode awakens those dim memories of times, games and people gone by. As well as generating excitement for games still to come.
